From Borneo and Around

This blog is all about Borneo (and sometimes elswere) as I experience it. It's about places, people, fauna, food ... and anything I find pleasantly worth sharing in words and pictures.

ETHNIC COUTURE : BREATH-TAKING

Style knows no borders. In far, far away Borneo the World Craft Council organised the 6th World Eco-Fibre and Textile (WEFT) Forum from the 24th to the 26th of September 2010 in Kuching.
Delegates who came to share their knowledge and experiences on Natures’s Colour Code in Basketry and Textiles had come from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Philippines, China, Canada, UK, Switzerland, USA, France, Australia, Korea, Taiwan, Lebanon, Kuwait, Oman, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia.
I attended the gala night where I met many very chic friends. Equipped with my Nikon D60 I simply had a splendid time.
